Our Sweet Ronja }

2004 - 2008

Ronja was our first Collie...

- it was such a joy to live with her!

 She really was a 'mother-hen'

- always watching out for the rest of the dogs and our children.....

She only really relaxed when she knew where everyone were!

Ronja was a beautiful lady, calm and gentle.

We Miss You So Much!

Tan Thorax Ruby }

18.11.1984 - 09.10.1992

Ruby the Pup came to our house a could day in February while we lived in Bergen.

I was 8 years old and Ruby became my Best Friend

- and my first experience with my own dog!

She 'tippy-toed' into my room in the middle of the night, jumped up in my bed

- and had sweet dreams rest of the night!

This was a dog with a special personality,

and I've a lot of great memories from the years I had with her.

Thanks for all the precious memories you have given me!

Ruby was showned as a puppy and did really well!

- suddenly she got undershot in her scissorbite.

But still, she was the greatest dog ever!!

It was a difficult day in october when we discovered that she had cancer.

I remember giving her a hug in the morning like I always did...

- it was heartbreaking to feel the lumps in her chest.

The Vet gave her some painkillers so we could have her with us a few days more.

But time wasn't on our side......

- and when she almost couldn't wag her tail anymore.. - then we had to let her go!

Goodbye, my sweetheart...

I Will Never Forget You!

{The Rainbow Bridge }

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.

Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.

His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers.

Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
